Let me start my very first blog post for 2018 with my favorite quote from the theArtidote Instagram account.
“Everything heals. Your body heals. Your heart heals. The mind heals. Wounds heal. Your soul repairs itself. Your happiness is always going to come back. Bad times don’t last.” – Christian Rutkowski
Could you believe it, we are already in 2018, I couldn’t believe I survive 2017. And time flies so fast that we only have four days to go before the first month of the year ends. Where did all the time go? I haven’t even made any bucket list for the rest of the year. Anyway, how are you, friends? I know I owe an apology to this blog (and to you my dear readers) for not posting and neglecting my blog for almost two months. It’s just university had been pretty stressful, challenging and fun that I couldn’t go online regularly. Which is why I’m having a hard time to regularly update this blog. But one thing I’m so grateful is that I’m coping with everything and I get less anxiety attack unlike before. I also changed my lifestyle and I try to go out of my comfort zone to of course help myself. As what my fave vlogger Wil Dasovich always says “Do something you never have done before”.
Speaking of which I’m sharing some photos of my very first (as in legit) Sinulog sa (in) Toledo/ Sinulog Festival in general. I usually spend Sinulog at home, watching the live coverage. This time around as part of my self-help therapy I decided to join the parade (or maybe I just don’t have a choice because of the heavy traffic) with my aunts and cousins. Sinulog in Toledo is celebrated after the Sinulog in Cebu, every fourth/last Sunday of the month of January. What I like about our celebration it that everything is pure Halad (offering).
That’s it for now! Thanks for dropping by. I’ll do my best to regularly update and share my unfiltered life.
